My 2020 Clean Beauty Favorites

I have a confession to make. Clean beauty and clean living is something I have pushed back on in the past. To be completely honest, it is all out of convenience. Living a healthy, clean life is hard in today's day and age, but since a health scare reality check this summer, I have been looking at all aspects of my life and reevaluating. Considering I'm still “youngish” and healthy, I work out and take care of myself, but so many environmental things can impact your health, down to the deodorant you use. 

 I started small by swopping out my deodorant to an all-natural one. While still trying different brands, so far I have liked the charcoal ones the most, especially Native. They don’t work as well but this is something I am willingly accepting if it means less cancer-causing chemicals on my skin!

 Trying new beauty products is something I love doing, so this felt like a good next step in my “clean” living journey. Some have been flops, but I've found a few new staples I want to share with you.

SEA Water Foundation by Tarte: I recently tried a new foundation from Tarte and was not sure what to expect but I love it! Not only does it feel light, it gives great coverage and lasts all day long. The SEA Water foundation is hypoallergenic and vegan.

SEA Pack Your Bags Undereye Patches by Tarte: I LOVE a good under eye mask, so when I discovered these I had to give them a try. They were refreshing and left me feeling recharged!

Avocado Melt Retinol Sleeping Face Mask by Glow: I got this in a gift pack so I could try it out in a smaller size and am obsessed with it. My face feels so good in the a.m. when I use this before bed at night. 

Wild Rose Vitamin C Brightening Sleeping Facial By KORRES: Since college, this has been my go-to for all-over moisture in the winter and guess what? It is clean beauty! This saved my skin during those long, cold, dry Wisconsin winters. 

MakeUp Eraser: So this is not a “clean beauty” product BUT with this MakeUp Eraser towel I can wipe away my makeup with just warm water, saving my skin and wallet from cleansers!
